JR PAT Testing services in Leicestershire
Having your electrical appliances tested is vital to ensure they continue to function correctly whilst also reducing the risks of accidents and potentially costly repairs. We are totally flexible with our hours, so we’ve got all your PAT Testing needs in Leicestershire covered. Our customers in Leicestershire include NHS hospitals and trusts, schools, colleges, care homes, housing associations, property landlords, factories, contact centres, hotels, restaurants, cafés, factories, hair salons, retail shops, the construction industry, medical and dental practices and offices. Test Procedure Typically, an engineer will arrive at your premises at a pre-arranged date and time and have all the necessary equipment to carry out a successful PAT Test. All our testing machines are calibrated and have the relevant certificates of validation. Our engineers and qualified PAT testers will work with you systematically throughout your work environment, performing a proper visual inspection of all leads and appliances. They will then test each portable appliance and all leads to establish if they are electrically safe to use. We follow your specific guidelines and if computers, servers, POS hardware need to be running continuously, we will conduct a thorough visual inspection in order to avoid any unnecessary power outages of vital equipment. If your appliances pass, our PAT testers will place a sticker to confirm the pass date. If failed, we will advise you on what needs to be fixed (if possible) or that the appliance needs to be removed. Our PAT tester can carry out minor repairs free of charge. However, larger repairs may need extra attention. Booking a PAT test There is some useful information that would be helpful to know in advance:- Approximately how many appliances require testing?
- When were they last tested?
- Are there any items of equipment that cannot be unplugged? For example, POS equipment in shops, computer servers or specialist medical equipment?
- What date and time would you prefer our engineer to attend?

About Leicestershire
Leicestershire is a landlocked county in England’s East Midlands. Its main population and administrative hub is the city of Leicester. Other places of note are Loughborough, Market Harborough, Coalville, Hinckley, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Melton Mowbray. Key industries are engineering (Leicestershire is famous for bell-founding), motor industry (Triumph Motorcycles are based in Hinckley), pharmaceuticals, finance, textiles, and electronics and technologies – notably associated with Loughborough University. Food and drink production is also important, and the county boasts the iconic brands of Stilton cheese, Red Leicester cheese, Melton Mowbray pork pies and Walkers Crisps. Several companies make Indian food products in Leicester. United Biscuits have their distribution centre in Ashby-de-la-Zouch as well as a snacks factory. Masterfoods, producers of major pet food products, have a factory in Melton Mowbray. Leicestershire County Council is based at County Hall in Glenfield and is a big employer, as are the health, education and retail sectors. The county has some important historical sites, including the site of the Battle of Bosworth, where in 1485 Richard III lost his life and Henry Tudor became king. Leicester has the Richard III Visitor Centre. Please contact us today for a quote
